Score of prostate symptoms and quality of life

The IPSS and Quality of Life score consists of simple tables that can be used to evaluate the repercussions of prostate-related problems on the urinary tract and on the quality of life of the patient.

You can use this questionnaire, fill it when you like and submit it to your doctor at the next medical examination.

During the last month, how often have you had a sensation of not emptying your bladder completely after urinating?

During the last month, how often have you had to urinate again less than two hours after you have urinated?

During the last month, how often have you stopped and started, several times when you urinated?

During the last month, after feeling the urge to urinate, how often have you found it difficult to postpone urination?

During the last month, how often have you had a reduced or weak urinary stream?

During the last month, how often have you had to push or strain to urinate?

During the month just passed, how many times per night, on average, did you typically get up to urinate (from the time you went to bed at night until the time you got up in the morning)?

  • 8 - 19 ........ Moderate symptoms
  • 20 - 35 ...... Severe symptoms
